Nassiri and his film, “Love Sees No Color” received the World Visionary Award during closing night ceremonies at The 2007 Boston Film Festival on September 20th. Robin Dawson, Executive Director of the festival commented, “Nassiri was selected because of his recent efforts and passion in promoting world peace.” The screening of the film at the AMC Boston Common 19 Theatres marked the east coast premiere of the unprecedented 12-minute film sung in 15 languages by thousands of children in 18 countries by 18 of the world’s most talented directors. Screening with Nassiri, “Love Sees No Color” included “New York City Serenade” starring Chris Klein, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
Mayor Gibson proclaims LSNC Anthem For World Peace Day
Mayor Jim Gibson, City of Henderson, NV honored Nassiri with a proclamation for ‚ÄúLove sees No Color‚Äù Anthem on World Peace Day, June 4th. This special recognition acknowledges Nassiri‚ self-funded efforts to assist children who are victims of war and poverty. The festivities included a presentation of the Congressional Certificate of Recognition to Nassiri by Robin Leach. The program ended with Nassiri singing on stage with the Mayor, other dignitaries and the chorus of children.
